About the role
Katten seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Group in the New York office.
Responsibilities
- Represent developers, investors, property owners and lenders in development and financing matters, including tax-exempt bond financing, low-income housing tax credits, agency financing programs (FHA, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae), and HUD subsidy programs.
- Independently run deals, demonstrating strong analytical and writing skills.
- Focus on a client-team approach.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate at a nationally recognized law firm.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Admitted to the New York bar.

- Estimated salary range: $300,000 - $450,000.
- Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
