Aerospace Source Inspector

Aerospace Source Inspector position supporting supplier management and technical services for global corporations. This is a W2 contract role requiring US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Perform product source inspections including in-process, final, and first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Conduct hands-on dimensional inspection.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensions, and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
• Perform mechanical measurements to verify compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structures.
• Support source inspection activities at customer-supplier locations in and around Burbank/North Los Angeles, CA.

Requirements

• Experience with hands-on dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in mechanical measurement techniques for aerospace components.
• Computer skills required.
• US citizenship.

Schedule

• Start date: Upon approval.
• Frequency of visits: 30-40 hours per week.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations in Burbank/North Los Angeles, CA.
