Aerospace Source Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final source inspections
• Conduct First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards
• Read and interpret purchase orders (PO) and engineering drawings
• Determine if a First Article Inspection (FAI) has been approved
• Read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y14.5
• Inspect parts for GD&T compliance
• Utilize handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Follow provided inspection checklist
• Pass a GE quiz

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no sponsorship available)
• Willing to travel and support suppliers within a 150‑mile radius of St. George, Utah
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5
• Proficiency with handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Schedule

• Full‑time assignment for 3‑6 months, with possible extension
• 1st and 2nd shift work, 7 days per week
• W2 contract position to work on an as‑needed basis
