Aerospace Source Inspector

About the role

Unitek Technical Services provides supplier management, development, and related technical services to corporations around the world. This position supports source inspection activity at customer-supplier locations in Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform product source inspections including in-process, final, and first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements
• Perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structures

Requirements

• Experience with hands-on dimensional inspection is required
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensions and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5
• Computer skills required
• Ability to travel
• Must be a US Citizen

Schedule

• Start date: Upon Approval
• Frequency of visits: 20-30 hours a week
