About the role

The Advancement Initiatives Specialist supports key recognition and stewardship initiatives within the OU Foundation under the direction of the Director of Advancement Initiatives. Key responsibilities include executing high-impact donor recognition programs, managing related data and processes, and ensuring a seamless experience for major gift officers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-impact donor recognition programs
• Manage related data and processes
• Ensure a seamless experience for major gift officers and donors
• Coordinate recognition efforts with development officers (DVOs)
• Maintain program integrity and advance strategic fundraising initiatives
• Work closely with advancement leadership and campus partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, advancement services, donor relations or related field required
• Candidates with fundraising, event management and writing experience will be given strong preference
• Knowledge of OU fundraising operations with experience and a deep understanding of strategy development for high-level prospects preferred
