Advanced Practice Provider – Pediatrics – Halifax

If you’re passionate about pediatrics and want to make a real difference in a close-knit community, this could be the role you’ve been looking for. Sentara Halifax Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to care for pediatric patients in South Boston, VA.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• 40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of admin time)
• Collaborative practice with 2 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 7 support staff
• Average 15 - 18 patients per day
• Patient population from newborn to 21 years of age
• No call, no weekends – office is closed Saturday and Sunday

Minimum Requirements

• Active NP or PAMinimum master’s degree required
