Advanced Practice Provider-General Surgery
About the Role
As a General Surgery APP, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll support a busy general surgery service and be part of developing a dynamic structure that adapts to increasing patient volumes and team expansion. The ideal candidate will bring prior surgical experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to excellent patient care.
- Practice at Intermountain Utah Valley Hospital
- Work three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Provide 100% inpatient care with no clinic hours or general surgery call expectations
- Round on acute care surgery patients, assist with consults and discharges, and support OR procedures
New grads may be considered, but prior surgical experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $57.33 - $88.47. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
Schedule
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40
- Three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
