About the role

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) provides direct patient care in collaboration with specific physicians to a selected group of patients. They are clinically expert in patient care and can provide a high standard of care to all patients, following an established protocol with a physician(s).

Responsibilities

• Perform a patient assessment to include medical history and physical exam and develop an appropriate plan of care in the direct management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Work directly with staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality care across the continuum.
• Integrate evidence-based practice and technological advances into scope of practice.
• Participate in the collection of research data, quality improvement, discharge planning and coordination of patient care within the area of practice.

Requirements

• Qualified APRNs will require: MSN or DNP degree preferred, 5 years acute care nursing experience, Basic Life Support, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license, DEA License, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Nurse Practitioner National Certification, Oncology RN or ARNP experience preferred.
• Qualified PAs will require: Masters Degree, valid Florida PA License, NCCPA Certification, DEA License, BLS Certification, Oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Science Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Basic Life Support.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
• DEA License.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Nurse Practitioner National Certification.
• Oncology RN or ARNP experience preferred.

The estimated pay range for this position is $72.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.
