Advanced Practice Clinician - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Pediatric Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician at our Lincoln Avenue Medical-Dental Clinic in Yakima, WA. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional passionate about community health and family medicine, with a focus on pediatric patients. The ideal candidate is committed to working with underserved patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel and develop patient relationships
• Provide comprehensive and high-quality care to pediatric patients
• Collaborate with a care team to ensure patient needs are met
• Assist in translation and patient care as a Certified Bilingual Medical Assistant
• Operate within clinic operational hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 7:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Master's Degree - Physician Assistant
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a two-year Physician Assistant training program

Qualifications

• Experience in community health or with underserved patient populations
• New graduate candidates are encouraged to list all clinical rotations and relevant experience

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
