About the role
Morrison Center is seeking a Coordinator Program Assistant for their Shared Living Program. This is an oversight position of 20+/- Shared Living Contracted homes within 14 different counties to include in-home visits every other month using your own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Aid in matching individuals and providers, conduct quality assurance reviews, and handle billing on behalf of providers.
- Ensure consumer relationships are maintained, promoting informed choice and positive environments.
- Participate in home visits to address questions and assist with provider selection.
- Conduct quality assurance activities, collect and file criminal and DMV background checks, and report significant issues.
- Provide MaineCare billing services weekly, partner with case managers, and share consumer- and home-related concerns.
- Plan and teach HCBS mandatory annual trainings, monitor providers for upcoming trainings, and communicate with the training department.
- Communicate with the current training department and OADS/HCBS to ensure trainings are current and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- CPR and First Aid training
- Direct Support Professional Certification
- HCBS 101 and Person-Centered Planning training
- Optional CRMA and Safety Management training
- Ability to be available for after-hours and weekend phone calls related to residential concerns or emergencies
