About the role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate clinical leader to step into the dual role of Assistant Director of Rehab (ADOR) and Occupational Therapist (OTR).
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director of Rehab to supervise, schedule, and support a massive, energetic team of therapists and COTAs.
Assist with utilization reviews, daily department auditing, clinical compliance monitoring, and care conferences.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
Oversee a diverse clinical caseload including Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiac, and Vascular rehabilitation.
Ensure timely and precise completion of evaluations, daily notes, and recertifications across the department.
Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) ordering and provide family/caregiver training to ensure safe discharges.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Licensure: Active and unencumbered Occupational Therapist (OTR) license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute care setting preferred. Previous leadership or mentoring experience is highly valued.
