Adoption Attorney

About the role

The Adoption Attorney will handle a variety of cases involving the adoption of children, including legal representation, counseling, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in adoption proceedings
• Prepare and file legal documents related to adoption
• Counsel clients on adoption laws and procedures
• Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to adoptive families

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the California Bar Association
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Qualifications

• Experience with family law and child welfare issues
• Knowledge of state and federal adoption laws
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
