Adoption Attorney

About the role

The Adoption Attorney will handle a variety of adoption cases, including foster care adoptions, stepparent adoptions, and international adoptions. They will work closely with families, social workers, and other legal professionals to ensure the smooth and successful completion of adoptions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on adoption laws and procedures
• Prepare and file necessary legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings
• Collaborate with social workers and other legal professionals
• Provide guidance and support to adoptive families

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the California Bar Association
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of California adoption laws and procedures
• Experience working with families and social workers
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
