Essential Function

Primary responsibility for supervising areas of Nursing Services including:

• Staff performance
• Quality assurance activities
• Timeliness of MDS data entry and submission
• Nursing staffing practices and payroll preparation
• Resident accident/incident reporting and resident abuse investigations

In the absence of the Director of Nursing Services, the Assistant Director of Nursing Services, manages Nursing Services.
