ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Grants Wellness & Rehabilitation in Grants, New Mexico. Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding care to patients and ensure their needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal, and local guidelines.
• Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Experience in treating wounds/wound care and utilizing the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in appropriate programs.
• Document any change in patient's conditions and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.
• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.

Requirements

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
