Admissions Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of admission personnel in assigned areas.
• Acts as support/consultant personnel to decentralized admission areas with and under direction of Admitting Manager.
• Provides leadership through facilitating BMH visions/values through personal example and interaction with staff.
• Communicates policies and goals, which will result in enhanced employee skills, management, and leadership.
• Maintains budget and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, enhance profitability and optimal resource utilization.
• Demonstrates Service First characteristics to all. Sets example for department and other hospital personnel. Identifies opportunities for improvement resulting in enhanced service and customer satisfaction.
• Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed without complaint.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum Required - Previous clerical experience, customer service skills. Previous admitting experience or physician office experience.
• Education: Minimum Required - Able to write and communicate on a high school level.
• Special Skills: Licensure.
