Admissions Coordinator
About the role
The Admissions Coordinator coordinates the admissions process for applicants to the pre-doctoral programs of the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. This includes active correspondence with and visit logistics for prospective students, participating in recruitment activities and projects, and managing the admissions processes for the School of Dental Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Supports and assists the Admissions Manager in executing the admissions processes for the School of Dental Medicine predoctoral, advanced standing, and guaranteed admit programs.
- Supports the collection and dissemination of applicant information.
- Maintains the admissions databases.
- Processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, including invitations, acceptances, and letters of non-consideration.
- Collaborates in coordinating on-site events and meetings.
- Affords assistance with external recruiting events and fairs.
- Serves as a liaison to pipeline organizations and other prospective students.
- Processes admission fees and deposits.
- Collaborates with the Office of International Services as needed.
- Performs basic analyses and prepares reports.
- Supports the maintenance of the admissions section of the Student Affairs webpage.
- Supports the team’s social media presence.
Requirements
The Admissions Coordinator must possess excellent organizational and communications skills, be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and exhibit a professional demeanor. The position requires some travel and physical effort, including walking and delivering materials to various departments on and off campus.

Pay
$17.95 - $23.08 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
