About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience as a student recruiter cum admissions specialist for a private/independent college. This position is responsible for attracting prospective students and ensuring they meet all admission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse student populations
- Conduct outreach activities including but not limited to campus visits, webinars, and social media campaigns
- Manage the admissions process from application to acceptance, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless transition for admitted students
- Monitor and analyze data to inform recruitment and retention strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education admissions or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience working with databases and CRM systems
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to higher education admissions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
