About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Admissions Advisor to join our team at Ideal Home Care. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information and guidance throughout the enrollment process. You will conduct one-on-one advising sessions to assess educational goals and develop personalized academic plans.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information and guidance throughout the enrollment process
- Conduct one-on-one advising sessions with students to assess their educational goals and develop personalized academic plans
- Utilize effective public speaking skills to deliver presentations and workshops to groups of students, parents, and educators in person or via Zoom
- Collaborate with other departments and faculty members to ensure a smooth transition for students from enrollment to their chosen program of study
- Recruit new students by attending college fairs, conducting campus tours, and participating in community outreach events
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records using education administration software (CRM)
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills, including authentic and sincere communication
- Effective sales skills and ability to connect with people
- Exceptional voice and personality
- Open to continuous training, personal growth, and development
- Comfortable with communicating via live and recorded video or open to receive training to become effective with video communication
- Willing to practice and role-play daily
- Knowledge and passion for achieving excellence
- Willing to work with a proven process for optimal success
- Confident self-starter
