Location: 16 W. High Street, Suite 200, Carlisle, PA 17013

Schedule

8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (75 hours bi-weekly)
Permanent, full-time position

About the role

To perform specialized administrative and supportive functions in a timely manner to assure efficient operation of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Types letters, reports, memos and other documents required by the department staff.
  • Operates and maintains computer, printer, copier, scanner, and other office equipment.
  • Updates computer databases as needed.
  • Troubleshoots minor computer problems and solves them when required.
  • Utilizes case management system and inputs data as needed.
  • Creates various department forms and reports.
  • Does case filing, copying, and collating for staff.
  • Greets and assists the public that come into the agency.
  • Answers telephone and takes messages, or transfers calls to the proper individuals.
  • Sorts and distributes departmental mail.
  • Maintains accessibility and updated passwords to all required programs.
  • Sends various requests, reminders, letters, and other correspondence to families as required.
  • Attends meetings and trainings as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Good typing skills

Pay

$19.06/hour; $37,167/annual

Paid Time Off

  • Personal: 3 Personal days per year, pro-rated based on starting date
  • Sick: 5 Sick days per year, pro-rated based on starting date
  • 12 Paid County Holidays (no waiting period to receive paid holidays)
