About the role
The Juvenile Assessment Center Team is seeking a compassionate and tech-savvy Administrative Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Provides technical support services, including troubleshooting network issues, organizing web-based trainings, and maintaining inventory of computer hardware devices and related equipment.
- Serves as liaison between program/unit personnel, ACTS' IT Director, and DJJ technical support staff.
- Aids in the technical training of staff regarding ACTS/DJJ software systems (LMS).
- Reports misuse and/or damage to computer equipment to Program Administrator/Director.
- Develops and/or assists in developing, organizing, and maintaining records, reports, and other program documentation requirements.
- Serves as the program's administrator for Learning Management Systems; enters training documents and maintains program's training compliance records for all staff assigned to the JAC.
- Reviews intervention, outreach, and prevention services entered in Electronic Health Record (EHR) for accuracy, billing, service validation, and outcome achievement.
- Prepares agendas, makes arrangements for meetings, sets up meeting spaces, takes and distributes meeting minutes as assigned.
- Maintains the program calendar and posts program/organizational communications.
- Works with vendors and completes and maintains related records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in office management, business, or related field.
- Microsoft/comparable certification or related degree may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
- Eligibility status, as determined by Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 435 and/or Local Law.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with diverse groups in support of the agency mission and goals.
