Job Description
To provide professional and administrative coordination of human resource and financial management activities.
Job Duties
- Administrative:
- Review and process Employment Authorization Forms
- Review and process the following transactions, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, reclassifications, status changes, salary changes, separations, and leaves of absence
- Open and maintain complete/accurate files
- Update/maintain faculty database, if applicable
- Review and process Memorandums of Appointment, if applicable
- Ensure compliance with UT System Regents Rules
- Serve as liaison to staff in other entity processing units, Human Resources, Payroll, and other support areas
- Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations of the entity
- Prepares reports as requested for institutional and/or external reporting purposes
- In the School of Medicine, coordinate, verify and submit the AAMC Faculty Salary Survey and all Faculty Roster information
- Complete annual surveys and run reports as needed
- Identifies operational problems and implements changes to provide solutions
- Budget: Coordinate information to support the institutional/departmental budget and planning process
- Maintains departmental reconciliation and analysis of commitments made through the entity
- Adheres to internal controls established for department
- Related Duties:
- Performs related duties as required
