About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic individual to join our Benefits and Community Support Division as an Administrative Specialist I/II. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting case management teams, engaging with clients, managing program data, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our benefits programs, ensuring clients receive the support they need in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or performing similar office administrative duties for Administrative Specialist I.
  • For Administrative Specialist II: Must have either one (1) year of experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a related field or similar administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Able to review and analyze reports and documentation accurately.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative, operational, and clerical support to TANF and Employment First (EF) case management teams.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for program participants, assisting them through their program journey and addressing inquiries.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze state-issued reports to verify data accuracy and compliance with program guidelines.
  • Process incoming participant paperwork, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed.
  • Track program compliance data, manage documentation, and update files regularly to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and support program goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and regulations.
