About the role

You will join a well-respected team responsible for enforcing Federal Criminal and Civil laws protecting citizens. You will provide administrative and technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and processing support to human resources specialists in various program areas.
  • Provide technical assistance and processing support to budget analysts in various program areas.
  • Provide technical assistance and processing support in contracting activities.
  • Assist in a variety of administrative services activities.
  • Prepare or assist with travel authorization requests, ensuring proper electronic approvals.
  • Prepare or assist with travel expense vouchers in a timely manner.
  • Review voucher submissions to ensure necessary receipts and correct funding information are submitted.

Qualifications

  • GS-06: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-5, performing a wide range of routine administrative and technical support duties for an office such as providing technical assistance, sorting and retrieving data, preparing invoices, and inputting data into electronic databases.
  • GS-07: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-6, performing a wider range of routine administrative and technical support duties for an office such as providing technical assistance and processing support on personnel actions and/or employee benefits, analyzing budget and financial data, preparing and reviewing invoices, and inputting data into electronic databases.

  • Technical assistance and processing support in contracting activities.
  • Affirmative assistance in administrative services activities.
  • Preparation or assistance with travel authorization requests and expense vouchers.
  • Review of voucher submissions for necessary receipts and correct funding information.

  • Payment of relocation expenses will not be authorized.
