Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, families, and visitors with a warm, courteous, and professional demeanor while ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, filing, scanning, and assisting with other office tasks.
- Verify and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and safeguard protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Enter and update patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Restock office and clinical supplies to support efficient daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a medical office setting (required).
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Pay
Hourly range $18-$20 (depending on office-setting experience)
Schedule
Part-time Administrative Office Assistant Hours: Monday-Thursday 12 pm- 6 pm and Friday 7 am-5 pm (31 hours per week)
