Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary point of contact for agency inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Performs and maintains complex executive calendars and scheduling.
  • Manages sensitive, often confidential, correspondence, memos, and telephone calls, routing matters to appropriate personnel for response.
  • Researches, reviews, edits, and summarizes reports, correspondence, briefing materials and supporting data.
  • Tracks documents, deadlines, and action items for executive level decisions.

Requirements

  • 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college; 12 mos. exp. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • Or 12 mos. exp. as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience working with or supporting military operations and/or high-level executive or governmental staff.
    • Can demonstrate an advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and/or similar programs.
    • Previous experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Previous experience editing and proofreading complex documents for accuracy.
