About the role

Join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and DoD. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in administrative management, operations, and organizational support across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and experienced in coordinating and optimizing administrative services, ensuring efficient operations that advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage administrative services including payroll, conference planning, travel, records management, and supply distribution.
  • Oversee secretarial, reception, information processing, mail, materials scheduling, printing, telecommunications, security, parking, and property management functions.
  • Implement procedures to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service across the organization.
  • Acquire, distribute, and store supplies; oversee disposal of surplus or unclaimed property as needed.
  • Ensure the physical workplace is aligned with organizational needs and supports operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of formal Military/DOD intelligence training (14 years with military/DOD training in intelligence areas will be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Prior experience with administrative tasks including payroll, travel arrangements, records management, and supply distribution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in one or more intelligence domains (e.g., counterterrorism, cybersecurity, border security).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Fluency in or active usage of relevant languages is a plus.
