Administrative Coordinator 1/2/3 (Ouachita Child Welfare Admin)
About This Role
This position provides clerical, programmatic, and administrative support functions for staff, applicants and clients of the Ouachita Parish Child Welfare office. The Administrative Coordinator serves as the first point of contact at the agency, creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps the front office running smoothly.

Job Duties
- Provides clerical support to the Child Welfare parish office.
- Assist with administrative and receptionist duties when needed or as assigned.
- Schedule fingerprints and perform printing for all perspective foster parents, care givers, and facility employees.
- Performs duties related to purchasing of office supplies.
- Keep record of all office equipment and prepare reports of items needing to be surplus.
- Organize and maintain file room and files in accordance with established procedure and records retention policy.
- May serve as timekeeper.
Career Progression
This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, or 3. The level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series.
