Overview

Indiana University Health is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Clinical Operations and unit managers at Bloomington Hospital. The role involves supporting clinical operations administrative and functional interviewing needs, managing calendars, coordinating supply ordering, conducting RN candidate interviews, and coordinating candidate shadows.

The Scope

This role supports clinical operations administrative and functional interviewing needs at Bloomington Hospital, including:

  • Managing the Director's calendar and the calendars of three-unit managers with high autonomy
  • Taking notes and transcribing meeting minutes, tracking action items, and following up as needed
  • Cooking supply ordering and ensuring day-to-day office operations run smoothly
  • Supporting department-wide project coordination and tracking
  • Conducting functional interviews with all RN candidates for Bloomington Hospital - assessing fit and connecting candidates with the right unit and manager
  • Cooking RN candidate shadows and serving as a warm, welcoming first point of contact for prospective nursing team members
  • Aiding in preparation of high-quality presentations, reports, and correspondence

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires intermediate experience in receiving, analyzing, and interpreting complex data and information.
  • Experience with a matrix organization and complex work environment is preferred.
  • Requires advanced proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
