About the role
The Contracting Services Department Logistics Team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their operations.Responsibilities
- Sourcing, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase requisitions for stockroom materials
- Reconciling and processing shipping invoices for payment
- Uploading material certifications into the stockroom catalog database
- Processing a variety of Laboratory web-based forms such as ship order requests, out-processing forms, and work order requests
- Processing electronic shopping carts and PCard purchases for supplies, services, and Logo Store merchandise
- Scanning various documents for electronic storage
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 2.5 years of directly related experience required. Post high-school education will count toward experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience with ERP systems required, experience with SAP ECC highly desirable
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills required
- Must have effective administrative skills, attention to detail, be well-organized and able to prioritize multiple complex tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
