About the role
GeoControl Systems, Inc., as a HUBZone company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the EC Division logistics, space management, and personnel move coordination. This role is part of the JETSII Contract with NASA.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the EC Alternate Unit Move Coordinator
- Support self-moves and coordinate all aspects of office relocations
- Gather move requirements, document assets and furniture needs, collect room and infrastructure data, prepare areas for moves, monitor move activities, and ensure spaces are properly vacated and restored
- Submit required updates in IDMAX, coordinate with JSC Furniture and Logistics, and support continuous process improvements
- Coordinate service requests for moves, IT equipment, phones, and network drops; maintain EC network and layout files; and ensure accurate EC entries within the JSC Space Utilization Tool
- Help maintain and update the EC Move SharePoint site, manage and distribute moving supplies, and coordinate Work Authorization Documents for move-related facility changes
- Submit and coordinate name plates, schedule IT onboarding and offboarding requests, assist with ergonomic assessments, and act as a liaison between EC IT, Logistics, Division Management, EA13, and administrative personnel
- Support new furniture purchases and installation, assist EC points of contact with logistics tasks, and provide document scanning for project and archival needs
Requirements
- Requires a HS diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must reside in a HUBZone or be willing to reside in a HUBZone
