Support the Pharmacy Practice and Experiential Education Programs Departments, assisting both faculty and administrators. This role involves securing and managing student documentation to ensure compliance for clinical rotations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to faculty and administrators in the Pharmacy Practice and Experiential Education Programs Departments.
- Secure and manage appropriate documentation from students to ensure rotation compliance.
- Adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
- Coordinate and assist with special events as needed.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching overhead, bending, squatting, pushing/pulling equipment carts, and actively engaging in events for extended periods.
- Regularly move about campus and event venues to engage with faculty, staff, donors, guests, and students, as well as attend meetings and ceremonies on and off campus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience in a complex environment.
- Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record by UIW insurance carrier, and at least 21 years of age.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn new technology.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework.
- Experience supporting a pharmacy program.
- Familiarity with pharmacy education curriculum and accreditation requirements.
- Higher education experience, preferably within UIW.
- Strong database experience.
- Microsoft Teams experience.
- Special event coordination experience.
Pay
$41,500 annualized
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with negotiable start and end times. Extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.
