About the role

The Administrative Assistant IV supports the Program Director and Associate Program Directors in the management and direction of the accredited residency program. This position collaborates with program leadership to ensure continuous assessment, evaluation, and effective management of various programmatic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in long-term planning and recruitment efforts.
  • Coordinates communications between program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manages databases and maintains accurate records.
  • Communicates with faculty, residents, and medical students regarding various topics and issues.
  • Collaborates with other departments and external institutions.
  • Works closely with program leadership to implement projects and manage day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience, including experience in providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management, performing secretarial duties, coordinating communications, supervising subordinate staff, and researching information.
  • One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of residency program administration and accreditation standards.

Pay

Grade 29 Step 1, salary $50,153.76.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
