What You’ll Do

  • Perform accurate, detail-oriented data entry, reporting, and documentation within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines across administrative, operational, and project-based work.
  • Conduct donor and prospect research, including giving capacity, philanthropic interests, and relationship mapping, to support cultivation and solicitation strategies.
  • Track gifts, manage donor acknowledgment processes, and support stewardship activities to ensure timely, accurate donor recognition.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for leadership, board members, and donor engagements.
  • Cook up complex calendars and scheduling, including meetings across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Draft and proofread professional written communications, correspondence, and donor-facing materials.
  • Cook up logistics for events, meetings, and donor engagements, with close attention to detail and guest experience.
  • Support basic financial tracking, expense reporting, and budget administration for the Development team.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive donor, board, and organizational information with discretion and integrity.
  • Anticipate the needs of leadership and the Development team, proactively resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Represent the organization and its mission professionally in all donor, board, and external interactions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience; nonprofit or development/fundraising experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and CRM/database platforms.
  • Pioneering ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access and a dedicated home workspace.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
