Job Summary
The Cardinal Glennon College Assistant for Formation assists the Vice-Rector and the Director of Propaedeutic Formation in the formation of College Seminarians.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the process of formation advising, including meetings, evaluations, discussions, and report writing for seminarians, particularly during the Propaedeutic Stage.
- Coordinate College Fraternity weekends and Spring Break service experiences, as well as other initiatives promoting Discipleship and Propaedeutic goals.
- Assist in the planning and presentation of weekly Formation Conferences, including periodic seminars.
- Support the Director of Propaedeutic Formation in Seminar and Prayer Seminar planning, implementation, and execution.
- Coordinate the admissions process for incoming college seminarians.
- Facilitate visits from sending Vocation Directors for prospective seminarians, including organizing Come and See discernment retreats.
- Assist in the governance and oversight of the National Association of College Seminaries.
- Provide support for special projects and other duties as assigned or approved by the Vice-Rector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in philosophy or theology is preferred.
- Prior experience or education in professional leadership.
- Highly collaborative style.
- Ability to work independently and with dependability and quality.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
About the Role
The Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO serves as the headquarters and governing body for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, once part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in philosophy or theology is preferred.
