About the Role

The Administrative Assistant supports operations at the Central Business Office, serving as an administrative resource to enable excellent clinical and administrative care. While this role may not directly support patients, it ensures smooth office operations across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome on-site visitors.
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail to the appropriate departments.
  • Provide administrative support to the CFO as needed.
  • Communicate and assist departments such as Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and Information Technology to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Assist Human Resources with New Employee Orientation setup and user access to company merchandise.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including organizing catering and managing invitations.
  • Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Energetic and enthusiastic work pace with the ability to manage document flow accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not required.
  • Dependability, including consistent on-time attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
