About the role

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an outpatient substance abuse counseling facility. A commitment to RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls for staff and route appropriately to extension or voicemail, or convey messages
  • Field and address general calls and inquiries regarding services provided at Rise Above
  • Greet arriving clients and complete appropriate check-in procedures
  • Collect and record payments for services
  • Schedule evaluation appointments
  • Maintain and report group registration and attendance as needed
  • Process evaluations and communicate status of evaluations with referral sources
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management team

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in clerical or administrative work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experienced with electronic health records preferred
  • Bilingual speakers are highly encouraged to apply
  • Current driver’s license, driver registration and a functional vehicle

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Accurately follow verbal and written directions from executive management
  • Demonstrate skills in the areas of critical thinking, problem identification, and troubleshooting, while maintaining confidentiality when dealing with employee issues
  • Ability to remain flexible in the face of changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work effectively under the pressure of multiple deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and company concerns
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
  • Knowledge of Human Resources laws and practices
