About the role

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned professional Administrative Assistant to provide support within the Precision Fire and Maneuver Systems sSBU (LADs).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the group’s leadership team and employees.
  • Collaborate and support all other administrative teams within the organization when necessary.
  • Maintain leaders’ calendar management for meetings, events, offsites, conferences, and travel.
  • Answer routine questions on policies and procedures as it relates to the administrative performance, including travel and expense reporting, group meals, etc.
  • Cook up meetings and functions, including arranging for visitors and ordering catering.
  • Facilitate meetings and drive slides for zoom and/or in-person formats.
  • Aid leadership team with travel arrangements and expense report processing to align with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle new employee onboarding documents and coordination.
  • Cook up office moves within the portfolio as necessary.
  • Aid in maintaining company document repositories.
  • Order office supplies and maintain stock.
  • Cook up and participate with other administrators to build a unified environment.
  • Support, guide, and drive for evolving business changes, and process improvements.
  • Respond to complex email and phone inquiries professionally.
  • Aid lower-level staff in gathering, verifying, and processing documentation.
  • Review data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of Raytheon by exercising discretion in communicating information to internal staff and external partners.
  • Work logistics around the classified conference rooms and classified VTC rooms.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and/or Teams.
  • Calendar management and/or meeting coordination experience.
  • Great attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience booking travel and working with expense reports.
  • Experience as an executive assistant or senior administrative assistant.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with M365 Copilot add-on for Microsoft 365.
