Administrative Assistant
Description
Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant for an apartment community located in Salem, MA. The Administrative Assistant role involves assisting the efficient operation of the Management Office by answering calls, referring issues to appropriate staff, and performing various administrative tasks.
Requirements of the Position
- Answers all calls promptly and courteously.
- Refers to appropriate staff.
- Opens incoming mail and distributes to staff.
- Accepts orders for maintenance problems/repairs.
- Completes work order forms and submits to Service Manager.
- General office filing.
- Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies.
- Maintains compliance with administrative procedures.
- Direct preparation of meeting materials including agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
- Filing and maintaining Association documents and records.
- Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files.
- Provides assistance and/or coverage at other sister sites within the company portfolio.
- Performs other duties as assigned to facilitate effective site operations.
- Takes initiative and is self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years business experience providing clerical and administrative support.
- Knowledge of OneSite proficiency.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Compensation and Benefits
- $25/hr. - $26/hr. pay.
