Administrative Assistant
About the Role
This position performs various activities related to the maintenance of associate and office records for company business. The Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison between associates and office staff, ensuring smooth operations and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone, take inquiries or messages using good telephone technique.
- Greet and assist everyone who comes into the office in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform data entry using the WellSky System for all clients and associates.
- Schedule and coordinate day-to-day activities of caregivers and clients.
- Verify time, telephony records, and mileage for payroll processing.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Prepare new hire packets, new client homecare record books, and client information packets.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, orientations, and in-services.
- Assist with Long Term Care billing and retrieving expired documentation.
- Support Employee Recognition and Training Programs.
- Perform On-Call duties as needed.
- Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies as required.
- Perform other general office and clerical functions as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience.
- Two years of healthcare experience.
- Basic office and computer skills, and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent telephone skills and interpersonal relations abilities.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as needed for the job.
- Availability for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.

Works primarily out of the local office at 6340 Kiln Delisle Rd Ste A, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
