About the role

Support project teams with daily administrative efforts including document control, purchase order management for small buys, communication with trucking companies and vendors, running reports out of Strumis, and managing data reports for management review.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase small components, supplies, and parts from vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders as directed by department manager or purchasing agent.
  • Maintain a purchase tracking system using an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes.
  • Communicate with vendors, trucking companies, and Project Management team.
  • Coordinate material movement from time of purchase.
  • Maintain schedules and deadlines on a timely manner.
  • Complete waivers and liens.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and advanced understanding of core competencies listed in Core Competencies.
  • Specialized knowledge in software & technology: Personal Computer, MS Windows /10, MS Office Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Stru-Mis.
  • Experience with Oracle, Sage, and/or Timberscan is a plus.

Qualifications
