Administrative Assistant
Coordinates activities and provides administrative support for an office, requiring an understanding of complex processes, data, and/or department operations. Creates and maintains documents and databases, arranges meetings and special events, updates supervisors on critical issues, and provides detailed responses to information requests. Reviews and updates administrative procedures, prepares and files required metrics and regulatory reports, and serves as administrative coordinator for the annual budget process.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of related experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of general office procedures and department functions.
- Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and alphanumeric sequencing.
- Knowledge of business English and arithmetic computations.
- Application of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer programs.
- Skills in typing, data processing, and file maintenance.
- Ability to manage a high volume of detailed work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to create and maintain files and records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot office equipment and computers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain complex clerical records and prepare accurate reports.
- Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in coding and filing systems.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work requiring the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
- Physical abilities required include balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, stooping, and walking.

Pay
$24.51 hourly.
Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening as a condition of employment. A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required. Safety-sensitive positions remain subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
