About the role
At Chrysalis Health, our Administrative Assistants are the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly in our office environment. In this vital position, you’ll handle a variety of administrative tasks that keep our team connected and our clients supported.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate professional telephone etiquette at all times.
- Manage multiple tasks and a busy office environment independently.
- Present in a professional manner in the community, in person, on telephone, and in written communication, including times of extreme stress and when others are upset.
- Work effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing an exacerbation of either psychiatric, substance use, and/or medical symptoms, as well as experiencing a stressful situation.
- Assume a professional, helpful style in all encounters with visitors, vendors, and other professionals, representing the company positively 100% of the time.
- Review and respond to electronic and handwritten mail, memoranda, and other correspondence, and respond to phone inquiries timely (within 24 hours or next available business day) in a professional manner.
- Understand and comply with all Chrysalis Health policies and procedures.
- Work cooperatively in the work environment and take direction from management with dignity, respect, and in a productive, professional manner.
- Consistently demonstrate an understanding of, support, and focus on the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of Chrysalis Health in day-to-day activities.
- Accept other special projects as assigned.
- Utilize HRIS system for payroll and evaluations.
- Carry out special assignments as directed during a hurricane, natural disaster, or pandemic.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of experience.
- Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Administrative Assistant or administrative assistant experience; preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must successfully complete all criminal background checks annually.
- Must maintain training requirements annually.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred.
- Computer literate with proficiency in internet, online applications, and email.

Pay
Hourly up to $15.00 - $16.00 based on experience.
