What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Manage the Program Director and Deputy Program Director’s calendar and independently schedule appointments.
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence; respond independently when appropriate.
  • Prepare memorandums and written communications.
  • Direct preparation of records such as agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Serve as a custodian of documents and records.
  • Maintain organizational files and records.
  • Communicate on behalf of the Program Manager and Deputy Program Director with internal stakeholders.
  • Perform all other administrative related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Ace’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or four years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Typing proficiency at 60 wpm.
  • PC literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to access the Fort Rucker site.
