Administrative and Financial Coordinator
About the role
This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Executive Dean’s Office in the School of Public Health. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating complex schedules and meetings, preparing agendas and materials, responding to inquiries, arranging travel, and processing expense reports for the Executive Dean for Finance and Administration and other members of the leadership team. The position is also responsible for processing financial transactions, coordinating signatures on financial documents, and preparing or assisting with a variety of financial and administrative reports. In addition, this role serves as a resource to administrative coordinators across the division, providing guidance on administrative processes, University policies, and best practices to help ensure consistency and operational effectiveness.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is Hybrid Eligible, with at least 4 days on-site. All offers of employment are contingent upon a criminal background check and education verification that are satisfactory to Brown University.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience as an office manager, office clerk, administrative assistant, front office manager, or similar role
- Business or office-related financial experience preferred
- Knowledge of Asana and Workday is preferred, but not required
