About the role
Assists with skills instruction within health science programs. Assists with administrative duties as assigned by the Program Director and under the direct supervision of the Program Director.
Responsibilities
- Aid in skills training and lab duties as directed by the Program Director and under the direct supervision of the Program Director.
- Teach courses in the approved discipline, facilitating student acquisition of specific learning outcomes.
- Mentor students inside and outside of the classroom.
- Create and maintain an effective learning environment in various teaching modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online, dual credit).
- Engage in instructional preparation and provide timely feedback to students.
- Assess student performance and submit final grades in a timely manner.
- Maintain ethical and professional behavior.
- Be available to students by appointment and attend adjunct faculty meetings.
- Assess courses on departmental and institutional levels.
- Complete any required training.
Requirements
- Graduate of a two-part, structured program in phlebotomy consisting of didactic & laboratory, and clinical training; provide current phlebotomy certification recognized by NAACLS.
- Minimum of 100 hours of clinical experience in the field.
- Current phlebotomy certification recognized by NAACLS.
Qualifications

- Required Experience: A minimum of 100 hours of clinical experience in the field; current phlebotomy certification recognized by NAACLS.
