Adjunct Professor - Music, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Production Program

About the Role

The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at LIU seeks self-directed, inspiring, and motivated individuals to join as Adjunct Professors. All courses are taught in person on LIU’s Brooklyn campus. The School is currently hiring in the Music, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Production Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music technology, Recording Arts, or a closely related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years of successful experience in a higher education setting.
• Experience across popular music genres (Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Alternative, Electronic).
• Creative pedagogical approaches that support curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Relevant industry experience in recording, mixing, and/or production at a professional level.
• A proficient level using outboard gear, consoles, and multiple DAWs including ProTools, Ableton, and Logic.
