Adjunct Instructor, Strategic Public Relations and Advertising: An Introduction
About the role
The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 250: Strategic Public Relations and Advertising: An Introduction. This undergraduate class introduces students to strategies and practices in the growing field of public relations, advertising, and related disciplines.
Responsibilities
This course also serves as the gateway for students who have not yet decided on a major or minor in PR to get enthused and inspired about the industry. Therefore, experience in agency, corporate, non-profit, or government PR is preferred. Because of the lockstep nature of our curriculum, willingness to adhere to the established class curriculum is required.
Requirements
- A B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable.
- Outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.

Skills
