ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR – HUMAN BIOLOGY

The Department of Biological Sciences at Edgewood University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Introductory Cell Biology, Microbiology, and/or Human Anatomy & Physiology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to teach one or more courses intended for Biology and Pre-Health majors.
• Prepare course materials.
• Teach lecture and lab sections.
• Maintain a learning management site.
• Conduct student assessment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field of biological sciences required.
• Experience in teaching undergraduates.
• Demonstrate multicultural competence – awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant, and productive ways.
• Actively support the mission of the University by working with faculty, staff and students to share in core values – truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community.
