Posting Details Position Information Posting Number 20110580-1 Job Title Adjunct- Human Biology Instructor Pay Rate Job Category Adjunct Department MATH & SCIENCES Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Instruct courses in Human Biology, Human Anatomy, and/or Physiology. These courses consist of 3 hours of lecture and 2 hours of lab work per week. Current available courses are scheduled to meet face-to-face daytime and/or evening at the Dowagiac and/or Niles campuses. Required Qualifications Master’s degree with at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework in Human Biology, Human Anatomy, and/or Physiology or related coursework.Excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in subjectCommunity College teaching experience Other Information All applicants must demonstrate the ability to promote active and collaborative learning through a variety of teaching methods, as well as relate to students. Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the demonstrated use of instructional technology are required. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. The conditions the employee will be subject to in this position. The employee is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
